One of the worst questions ever written, and I never argue with the test.
A proves that these dinosaurs lived very close to trees which is not a big strengthener obviously since lots of non-gliding things live by trees. But it provides a slight boost to the possibility that they could have used trees to glide since they live right next to them and have wings. If an answer choice said that trees did not exist in their environment that would be an argument-killing weakener.
E tells us that because the dinosaurs' most dangerous predator couldn't climb trees that makes it more likely that these dinosaurs can climb trees and by extension are more likely to glide. If the dinosaurs' main predators couldn't swim does that mean it's more likely that they lived in the ocean?
It's also worth pointing out that being a creature's "most dangerous" predator seems to imply that that predator poses the greatest danger to that creature. It's hard to reconcile that likelihood with one species living in the trees and gliding all over the place while the "dangerous" predator is looking up from the ground. If anything the earth-bound status of these "most dangerous" predators seems most likely to imply that the vulnerable prey is NOT able to easily get away by scurrying up a tree.
Not criticizing the explanation at all but this question sucks.
