Hey dave,
Out of curiousity, do you see these rogue, no-template games, being used more frequently on recent tests? Should it be more likely that one would face one on a test now than say 5 years ago?

Yes!
Check out this handy-dandy chart from your Documents folder for more complete info.

For this game, I used a chart with R, S, T on the top and C1, C2, C3 on the left. I then put the buildings in the chart. This is helpful, since it sorts the buildings neatly. I also assigned values to the buildings. Class 3 building=1, class 2 building=2, class 1 building=4. I realised each company has a total value of 6. So, no matter how many times of exchanges happen, their total value should remain the same. With this setup, I finish the game under 6 minutes.

Great explanation Dave! I had no idea how to start this game but once I saw the way you mapped it, it all became clear. Not a bad game

[steeples hands under chiin, purses lips] I do love when a plan comes together.
