I understand why A is correct, but I'm confused as to why B doesn't work. If you used the negate test, it would be "The scientists in the survey who know the results of the BEE are NOT exactly the same ones who accept Wang's Law."
Wouldn't that show that there are scientists who maybe know about one concept but not the other? Or does the "exactly" throw it off?

Yeah; we don't need to know they're exactly the same group. Imagine finding out that out of 6,000 scientists, there was one extra scientist in Brown group than in the Wang's group. That wouldn't change the reasoning!
