I am still not sure about this one. I do see why A is right. I initially chose A, but then changed to B. I thought: the argument is assuming that the judge's screening of the evidence is the ONLY reason why the jurors perceive the evidence as more credible. So, i thought, to evaluate the argument, we have to evaluate alternative explanations. If the a juror's opinion is affected by other jurors (maybe because of "group thinking", discussed in an LSAT reading passage...), then the argument falls apart...
Is there anything wrong with this way of thinking? I was hesitating between A and B....this kind of question tortures me! Help!

Ah! But look again at the passage: here we're claiming that judges are the primary influence, not the only one!

Hi, I was hoping you could explain why answer choice C is wrong. I understand why A is the better answer, but I am having a hard time completely eliminating C. In my mind, knowing how they form their opinion could help determine if the judges pre-screening plays an important role
