Why is answer choice A of Q16 wrong? This is explicitly mentioned in the lsat paragraph.

I've looked at the last paragraph very carefully and I'm not seeing anything there about what many lawyers believe. What did you take to be evidence for (A)?

the only question I got wrong was the first one, 9...I chose AC E....I was stuck between A and E but ruled A out bc it said actual trials...
but for main point Qs, it's not about describing the whole passage, which would include the mentions of limitations, but more generally about that singular thesis sentence, correct?

1. You're aware the answer is (C), right?
2. Good reason for eliminating (A) (see line 11)—it's also a good way of eliminating (E)!
3. The main point answer does typically encompass the full passage. I mean, to be correct a response has to actually express the passage's main point (that's the only real test, and it's why I put so much focus on your learning to state teh author's point before you start looking at choices), but it's common for right answers to address each point in a passage (though they don't always do that).

I did well on this passage, but I am still confusing my "SPAM" a bit. I thought the author's attitude/tone was really meh-ish. There were so many uses of "may" throughout the passage that I didn't feel like the author was definitively convinced. Could you tell me language that suggests otherwise. I chose this passage's purpose as evaluate because of this and also chose A for Q13 since I didn't get the "approval" vibe.

I'd point to the first sentence of the second paragraph, (it "is, in fact, effective"), the second sentence of that paragraph (two means of corroboration), the final sentence of that paragraph (unless the evidence is really important, it "should carry less weight" if it's stolen), and the first sentence of the final paragraph (giving one more possible reason for stealing's effectiveness).
