Dave, what’s with all the colons? My understanding is that particular punctuation is only used to list a series of items or events. ie “Herein defendant’s objections to the plaintiffs motion to compel are as follows: <—
a. Blah blah;
b. Blah blah.”
The punctuation threw me off ... please advise

Colons have multiple uses!
1. They're certainly correctly used to indicate a list, as you've demonstrated.
2. But they can also be used for special emphasis, in much the way a dash can be used: to indicate that the next part of the sentence is surprising, or of particular note, or is explanatory of the preceding clause.
3. Finally, they can be used in place of a comma to indicate a quote: "Nelson denounced his detractors in the strongest possible terms: "They're all a bunch of cotton-headed ninny-mugginses!'."

I can remember you stating in your lectures do not utilize answer choices that use load bearing language especially in inference questions, UNLESS they are right in the stimulus. There it was....great explanation!!!!
