An analogy for question 14:
2 prisoners are in a cell that has been on lockdown...no other interaction with any other individuals. Upon searching the cell, correctional officers find contraband. It HAS to belong to one of the two inmates, because no other inmates have entered the cell since the last search (on lockdown prior to the last search until the time of the current search, we'll say). Since, of course, "snitches get stitches", the correctional officers haven't proven that it was inmate 'A' or inmate 'B'. The COs don't know which prisoner is the owner of the contraband, but it can't be any other person (and any/all other possibilities of contraband entering have been ruled out).
*The first analogy that came to mind was maybe a bit more entertaining. It was regarding the results of a paternity test, wherein ONLY 2 men could be the father, but it seemed to be slightly inappropriate and perhaps too "Maury-ish".
