For question 12, a directive question, I was able to get the correct answer using my prior work. For later directive questions in games, would you recommend taking a glace at your prior work before diagramming? After watching your solution, it looks like fully diagramming all directive questions will save you much more time in the long run due to your ability to build up prior work.
That sounds fine, so long as you remember that your prior work can only show you some things that could be true, never (in itself) what must be true.
For 12, why would you not assume that is P first and do both options?
I'm guessing there's a typo in your question. For Q 12, P can't possibly be first (see the above video starting at 3:34).
