For question 9, I was leaning towards answer D.
It seems to also say the ethnographers are dealing with women's views of women poorly. And the use of the word surprising seemed justified by the author referring to the method as a shock.
Can you explain why this answer choice is not as good as C (which was my second choice)?
Thanks.

I suppose that when I give choice D more thought it does seem to promise more than the passage concretely states.
I just over looked it due to the connection between surprise and shock. I will try to pay more attention to the direct content rather than putting all my chips in on a descriptive similarity.
Thanks for the insight.

I understand... I did the same thing! I chose D as well due to the element of "shock" expressed by the author

you make this sound so simple. So the tips for the reading COMP are SPAM and to provide an answer before looking at the answer. I am eventually will go bold with all my stress. I am taking my LSAT exam on March 10th and I have a chance to push it back do to the (COVID-19)
