Hi! I have been struggling with problems with this kind of reasoning. Can you please direct me to a good theory video to help me get better at these kind of questions?

I need your help.
I chose D even though narrowing down to B and D.
Could you explain the argument using the conditional formulations for me?
Mine is
(success) -> (genuine confident)
(success) -> (self confident)
...
Should I include "even though" in the conditional formulations?
thank you, Dave.

Well, this argument isn't truly conditional (saying that success is more easily obtained by those who genuinely believe does not indicate any necessary condition for anything).
But the core of the argument can be summed up in pseudo-conditional fashion:
Genuine Confidence leads to Success.
Thus, if you want success you should Fake Confidence.
GC → S
∴ FC
now add answer choice (B):
Fake Confidence leads to Genuine Confidence.
And now put it all together:
Fake Confidence leads to Genuine Confidence, which leads to Success:
FC → GC → S
It makes sense now: Faking Confidence leads to success!
