can you explain why E is wrong? i struggled between B and E because although i noticed that B is evidence against the last sentence, i thought that the last sentence wasn't the main conclusion and therefore E saying that the plants had little effect, was evidence against the main conclusion.

(E) doesn't give us any evidence to suggest that the theory is wrong.
The theory says the availablity of plants is the primary factor. (E) says plants were available and the pig population stayed stable. If anything, it provides additional evidence for the theory.
