When you're comparing two answer choices, investigate the difference between them! That's illuminative here—knowing that her column could incite trespassing is not the same as reasonably expecting that it would incite trespassing. That difference is the reason (A) is enough for proof, and (D) is not.
Also, it will help to remember our lesson on language cues!

How is answer choice A different from answer choice B? It seems like they say the same thing twice.
