Dave, on question 15 I'm convinced that the right answer is B- Macroecon. I had everything up until the three blanks, but then I remembered the J/R placeholder. Why did you choose to use the J/M placeholder instead?

I know, I watched that and still don't get it.. but nevermind it's alright. I just don't get why J/M was used as a placeholder instead of J/R.

Hey Dave, i think the problem is why only put R/J on the left side and not M/J?
not R - J - not M
i guess the answer is rule 1 is not R - J which means R and J can be there at the same time. Doesn't that mean we can't say R/J?
Is there a quick way to figure this out without actually thinking?

Dave,
For question 16 the first thing I did was to look for answer choices that violated rules and eliminate those, instead of plugging in answer choices to see which one was right. For a question like this where the answer is A the quicker thing to do is obviously start plugging in answers, but that's no always the case.
I'm asking what would it be better to do off the bat in order to preserve time, eliminate bad answers using rules, or start plugging in answer choices?
Thanks in advance!
