why is A wrong?
If you negate A, restoring cathespin to norm level is not the only way to eliminate periodontitits. Doesn't that ruin the conclusion? I guess the langauge is really strong?

It does not, and it's a powerful reminder to pay attention to the language cues we've discussed!
Consider this:
Proper cardiovascular exercise will lead to weight loss. So if we run 3 miles a day, we'll experience weight loss.
To mount this argument, we don't need to know that running 3 miles is the only form of cardio.
Same thing here.
