For clarification: I went for this hook, line and sinker by not identifying the flaw and selected D, ugh!!
Would it be fair to state that this is one of many examples why we must ALWAYS identify the flaw in most questions to be able to rule out this switch answer choices of B-E? Im asking for clarification on this because it appears now that you've defined the flaw I can see clearly now why A is right?

Yeah, I agree with you that it's pretty much always going to be useful to clearly identify the flaw in an argument, and usually in much the same way as it was here.
