How about (E)? If properly developed bones more likely to develop arthritis than improper bone, we should neuter our dog.

But (E) doesn't say that! You must only weigh what the answer choice actually says; if you add the comparison you've added here, then sure, it's a good answer. But it's no good as written.

Is E wrong because it is not the most strong criticism of the argument? Thanks

Maybe an analogy would help:
If you want to protect yourself from being hit by a bus, don't step out into the middle of the road.
Then imagine an analogous answer (E):
This argument fails to consider that people can be hit by buses while standing on the sidewalk.
OK, I mean, that's trivially true, but it doesn't go to the real question of the argument; is staying out of the street what you should do if you don't want to be hit by a bus? In this case, yes, of course you should stay out of the street, even if it's true that people on the sidewalk can also be hit by stray buses.
It's essentially the same relationship in this trainer's argument.
Does that make sense to you?
