In the 4th line of passage, does “some of their actions’ consequence” mean to harm themselves?
However, does it can also mean to harm other people?
In my thought, answer choice (D) says “do not intend that harm,” and that harm means to harm themselves rather than to harm other people. Thus, I thought (D) is false.

The consequences of which the actors are unaware are the harms they do to themselves. When the author concludes they act out of ignorance, she assumes that they would not intentionally harm themselves.
