I was torn between A and D. I actually went down a rabbit hole of determining what constitutes goodness while answering this question. A does not do any harm, right? Marcus is going out and he is not doing anything bad, so he must be doing something good or neutral. I know the principle posited by the stimulus is evident in D, but would you please explain why A is incorrect? Is it because Marcus could be harmed?

This question reference is a palindrome! (41.1.14) That is aesthetically pleasing.
In (A), we don't know that Marcus is doing any good to anybody. Laila's rule is that it's OK if it does more good than harm.
Marcus may be OK, but we can't prove it from the evidence in (A).
