Can you help to negate answer E to help me understand how negating a wrong choice helps to eliminated it as a possible right answer?

For all incorrect NA answer choices, negating them will not result in a detrimental effect on the argument.
For example: If (E) here were not true, then than means only that there are some factors other than detail-reproduction and lens-resolution that help determine the degree of detail in a photo. OK, super. But that fact has no bearing on whether differences in a lens's resolution are—or are not—of practical consequence. Such differences could be one of many factors, and could still be irrelevant.
