Oh wow that was so straight forward and i got it wrong :( So i chose B because first I treated it as a sufficient assumption, and I thought we had to prove the conclusion by saying that these two used public funding for their works and therefore we should use for arts.
Can you explain why B is incorrect so i catch this type of mistake. Thanks

First, note that the question asked what was required. Necessary assumption!
Think about (B) this way: the point of Stravinsky and Manet is to show that art is shocking; they don't need to have been publicly funded to make that point.
