Would A be a better answer if it didn't say to vote against and simply said claimed that the government should not increase spending on education?

Totally picked A and thought i got this right.
Also, thought the flaw was False Choice because i thought the argument was saying you either had to be with or against education.
For the negate test i read A as: " It is not inconsistent for a leg. both to claim...."
Did i place the 'not' in the wrong place? And can you shed any light on this for me, Nec. Questions are a challenge for me.
Thanks.

I just want to state your documents are a lifesaver for me. Previously I have been having difficulty between NA and flaw questions..so I've been going back and studying the theory material and videos on these weaknesses. If I had not done that, I know I would have picked A before....but it just did not sound right now. Finding the weakest point of this argument as you state is where the assumption lies: Just wanted to share what my analysis was as it did help me to select the correct answer: "The missing gap would be that having a worthy goal and having to make a decision that is needed are two different things. While they state they are inconsistent, they may not be because while they have a goal something may have come up that would cause them to state that funding should not be increased, who knows: but I felt that A was almost like a trick answer because it seemed so accurate because the conclusion states that the partys policy is inconsistent, but as you stated in your lecture it did not define this.
So when I said D, my analysis answered it even though I was thinking about A. Doing the analysis and coming up with what can be the answer is so effective, but one must know how to attack these questions. You have made that possible for me and I'm very grateful for that!
What I really want to say is Thank you, for the amazing lectures and materials that gave me this mega cognitive moment.
