hi dave i was stuck between A and B i choose B bc i figured the flaw of this arg was that they assumed cities would be different without cars. i didnt even see the S v N conflation at first. how do you recognize these flaws so quickly?

Just saw this comment after posting. I will go back and study this as it looks like you may have answered my questions here.

I chose A but not for the reason that you stated. I thought it was a causal error flaw that cars are not the only cause of its current geographic locations or as you state scattering. This is one of my questions: is it ok to use geographic location which I read in the conclusion, just confused on the scattering. So would this be a S/N conflation error? Ok update, I just went back and read my notes and you state it’s a variation of the causal flaw. Its interesting because I’m not sure if I can always recognize this S/N language when it does not contain the language I'm used to, but I see it after this and that the geographic scattering was not a necessary condition? Hoping to get better at identifying these conflation errors.
Thank you for this explanation!
