Dave,
I anticipated that i needed to show Ireland was similar to the speaker's country, but I thought it was an ascriptive flaw. I thought the example of Ireland made would not matter unless it was similar to the speaker's wetlands.
Writing it out, it makes sense that it could be an analogy flaw as well, but could you explain the differences between these two flaws in this instance?

It is not only possible, but common for an argument to exhibit multiple flaws. This is a good example of that, and you've done a good job of addressing it.
