I am having so much trouble differentiating between necessary and sufficient assumption questions... I've watched the theory video so many times and I'm still not getting it. ;___; I had marked this one down as sufficient assumption, not necessary. What makes it necessary and not sufficient?

I think it finally clicked.. I don't know why it took so long but it was like the heavens opening up and consuming me when I finally got it.

2. Dude! I don't think I got an alert about your original comment! You already know this now, but it's a Necessary Assumption question because it asks what the argument has presumed. There's no issue of something that, if assumed, would guarantee the conclusion. This is something that the arguer has left out that is necessary to establishing her conclusion.
