I got this one right, but I did not have this chain. I simply did the below conditional formulation.

Could you explain the chain so I can see the full stacked formulation?

It's just a straight (abbreviated) replication of the text of the argument:

Would you recommend that on the test we diagram these out. I was really going for C at first because I was looking for understanding roots, and I'm glad you brought out in video that they did not follow the entire chain as this was confusing. This prompted me to diagram it and I could see it partial chain. Would this be considered a contra positive valid argument?

Yes, I definitely and strongly recommend diagramming conditional chains, particularly where (as here) the language is clearly conditional and linked, and the question is an Inference Q.
