When I first read the game I thought for sure standard ordering, and I simply assigned shapes to regular, super and premium, using circle, square and triangle? Then I saw you used multi row...
How do I spot the difference?
Edit: After setting it up with multi-row I can see how visually it is so much easier because it makes prior work easy to identify. Just gotta get better at identifying diagrams...
Practice makes perfect. Remember, it's never right v. wrong with the diagram; it's only ever maybe more efficient v. less efficient. So don't worry about it; just try thinking about what template you might like to use (and why!—your study plan will help you organize this thinking), then compare your thinking to mine to decide whether your idea was more or less efficient.
On question 16 I added J last without changing the prior diagram. I got it correct. I noticed you placed it first V/J. Do you suggest placing the new condition first on the diagram or trying both way? Just want to be sure incase i encounter a similar game like this one.
thanks in advance!
You got lucky!
There's no reason J has to be last, so we shouldn't just place it there. Instead, we should only show within our diagram what must be true.
In this way, you can always be certain that you're getting the answer right.
