I just did two timed sections, PT 31 and PT 38. I have been noticing that I tend to lose track of the overall purpose of the passage and fall into the pitfall of reading for content. So, these two timed sections I kept reminding myself to just think of the purpose of the passage and WHY the author would write this. I finished both sections in 33 minutes, felt comfortable with all of my answers except the ones that I missed, which were down to between 2 choices and honestly just made some dumb mistakes. I missed -1 on PT 31 and -3 on PT 38. Dave, I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I think I am finally getting RC after the ups and downs of studying it for 5 weeks. Internalizing this approach really keeps me focused on the structure of the passage and why the author would say certain things. I just want to get your honest input/feedback if this sounds like it might be a good approach to be taking as I continue to study for June. As I continually remind myself to read for for the purpose I seem to get better at understanding the MP of the passage. Wow, I love reading comp. and can't wait to hear some of your general insights/thoughts about how this sounds! :) I love you.

Hey, there,
I've answered your question in this week's mailbag. Today's mailbag is recording number THIRTY-TWO.
You'll notice that there are vertical lines running through the playback bar; each line represents a section break, so you can quickly jump to your question if you'd like (although you may have to wait for the entire video to load in order to navigate within playback).
