Screw the LSAT...just watch the podcast and videos!

Dave, I come bearing a benevolent testament to your efforts in prepping young, stargazing layers as they slay their first masked, sword-slinging opponent: the LSAT. While I haven't enrolled in your course, nor am I familiar with the improvements in scores experienced by your students, I have to say, man, the podcast and free videos alone are fantastic. I suspect had I not planned to take the LSAT in December but had instead inadvertently stumbled upon LSAT Kung-Fu while browsing the iTunes "comedy" or "educational" Podcast categories, I would have still listened to each episode. The material is interesting but the presentation is memorable. Well done, Shaolin Master!

Ha! That's awesome, Tom; thanks so much for the kind words!

Let me know how the test goes for you, will you?

Yup! I'm beating the socks off the reading comprehension section, but failing miserably on all fronts with logical reasoning and timing with analytically reasoning...just hoping dedicated and focused practice will produce much improvement before December!

Quick tips:

Do some reverse engineering in LR - find how the test writers' conception of right answers relates to their passages, and use that understanding to color your future work.

Show your work in games - you'll never waste time by "doing the math". You waste time in the section by trying to decide what to do next, or trying to do work in your head. Keep your pencil moving, and use answers to prior questions  to help you get rid of answer choices in future questions (e.g., if you've already shown in prior work that F can be third, then you know that answer choice (B) "S is third" is not something that must be true!)
