need some help wrapping my brain around a question on page 103
This pronghorn passage was pretty dope until some absurdities appeared in question 24. I don't quite understand how B can be the correct answer here. It seems to me that the lack of carnivores in the present day environment WAS used as support in establishing that the pronghorn exhibited relic behaviors.
Line 36--> Since pronghorns have nothing to fear from present day carnivores.... ????
Obviously I'm missing something.
Also some clarification as to why D is not a credited response would help as I picked that convoluted mess as my answer.
