Newest released prep tests

Hey,

I don't have any of the prep tests after pt 62. Are those available in hardcopy or for download to enrolled students somewhere? If not, where should I go to purchase them? Amazon? Btw, I read Born to Run: great book. I recommended it to a friend since then, and he finished it, too. I gave him a spiritual name: El Zorro Rubio (the blonde fox). O, and I read Into Thin Air--which was a recommended read at the back. Had a chance to check that out yet? Anyways, it was awesome--to say the least.

Hey, Steve,

El Zorro Rubio? That's one of the bitchingest names I've ever heard. I need a spiritual name. I've read Into Thin Air and also that author's book about Mormon polygamists (I can't remember the title - wait - Under the Banner of Heaven, I think); both were pretty great.

Good news: your VTP membership does come with access to the most recent tests (complete with 5th sections taken from the June 2007 exam).

Best,

d

Dave, man, thanks a lot for the quick response. I'll have to check out the polygamy book, soon. Sounds too good to pass up. Right now I'm in the middle of a Mary Renault book called "The King Must Die." It's great. I'm surprised that it never got much recognition.

Anyways, I would say that I'll come up with a spiritual name for you. But, I'm not worthy (Wayne's World style bowing).

O, and I took my first pt in two and half years yesterday. The night before, I couldn't sleep (maybe got 4ish hrs) because I was so anxious... Man, the real test might give me a heart attack. I scored a 160--which I guess is pretty good for my first shot... But, I was hoping for a 165 or better... My aim is perfection. However, I'd leave to and from the test center with a smile if I knew that I have 170+ potential. (I was wondering what the necessary part of that last statement was... hahah Then, I figured there's a lot of things that would make me smile: a glance from a cutie, a 1 millionth LSAT taker award, or even some free soft serve.)

Thanks, again, and take care.

Mm. Soft serve.

(Also, I think you should be optimistic about your prospects, given your current position and the time you have remaining).
