Games Speed

I find myself still struggling with time in the games section. It is taking me around 9:30 mins to complete each game, thus leaving the last game of each section unanswered. What has worked for you in the past to improve speed as this is my only issue (accuracy is prety good)? Thanks for your input.
As of now I am on chapter 9 of the games. The games that were supposed to take me between 4-7mins from Chapter 8 took me about 8-10 each.The first timed section of Chapter 9 I was not able to finish the first game. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
