Do you recommend writing out every contrapositive for conditional logic statements when writing out the rules during a game setup? I think the answer will be yes, but I am worried about cluttering up my page and being overwhelmed with data.

I absolutely recommend it.
Remember there's been a layout change since 2012 (open the Games section from test 66-68 to see what I mean), so there's no real consideration about space.
The extra data should be of material use to you. Instead of thinking about those relationships, you'll see them on the page, and that should save you time and mental strain (in addition to likely making your work more correct).
Ultimately, though, you're the only one who's going to have to read and use your work, so you should do it however makes you happiest, my recommendations notwithstanding.
