First 180!!!

I got my first timed 180 today!! Had to share :) I told someone IRL and they responded with, "Cool....is that pretty good?" I wanted to slap them. It was SuperPrep B, missed one in each of the logical reasoning sections. It seemed pretty easy compared to the more recent tests but I'm hoping results will transfer over a bit.

Woo-hoo!

I'm doing a wild dance of primal joy on your behalf.

Well done, my friend!

Have you done much analysis on the differences between the pre/post 2000 tests? I just took PT1 (2-6, 8, 17, SPC are my only virgin tests remaining) and got another 180. This is odd to me because I haven't touched LSAT material in about 3 weeks before working on SPB (and feel less comfortable than when I was at my peak), and when I was working my ass off with the more recent material, the highest I could muster was a 178. I'm hoping this can help reveal a weakness of mine that is present in the newer stuff but not in the older. I'm fairly certain it doesn't have to do with A/B passages.

Just curious if you have any guesses before I dive into it myself.

Hey,

I think the answer probably has a lot to do with the differences between today's tests and the earlier ones. We investigated some of those differences here, and I think if you apply that thinking to your outcomes, you may find the key.

Also, though, keep in mind that there's practically zero real difference between 178 and 180. I mean, we're really talking about two good choices out of 100. I - and LSAC! - don't think that's a statistically significant difference.

So there might not be anything to explain, you know?
